bodhi bloB
it's not a typo...

my kids inspire me every day...that doesn't mean that they make every day easy...or relaxing...or filled with endless joy and laughter---but by the time I tuck them in at night, they've taught me something new and usually that something makes me smile (in spite of any bumps we may have encountered along the way).
one of their most valuable lessons for me is that we often find beauty in our imperfections...that we each have our own unique way of learning and growing and soaking up what the universe throws at us...and that even though we're all ultimately on a journey to find our happiness, we need to follow our own paths to get there.
my daughter has been learning about the parts that make up a book in her first grade reading class. As we snuggled together on the couch one evening, she picked up a book and showed me the COVER, the TITLE PAGE, and then, turning to the back, she showed me the BLOB about the author...I kind of hope she never starts calling it a blurb because her twist on the word will always make me smile.
so I'm sticking with "bodhi bloB" as a reminder to us all of the magic that we discover when we stop taking things too seriously and open up our hearts and minds so that we can step out of the box and look at the world from a different angle.
I love you Ellie and Quinn! you make every moment amazing...
